Desi calculation
Chargeable weight
8 desi

- Desi8.00
- Weight5 kg
- Charged byDesi
40 × 30 × 20 ÷ 3000 = 8. The weight, 5 kg, is less than the desi; you pay by desi.
Enter your own figures.
How is it calculated?
Desi is the weight worked out from the box’s volume, as Turkish carriers use it: width, length and height in centimetres are multiplied and divided by 3000.
The carrier compares the desi with the box’s weighed weight; the larger one is charged. The Aras Kargo list we use as an example gives the price per parcel; with more than one parcel, each is charged separately.
Shipping services carry KDV (Turkish VAT) at the general rate (20%); the price excl. KDV times 1.20 gives the price incl. KDV.
FormulaDesi = width × length × height ÷ 3000 · Chargeable weight = the larger of desi and weight · incl. KDV = excl. KDV × 1.20
